On this page:-

General Information.

The upcoming voting on 2nd May will be for the county's next Police and Crime Commisioner. There is some information on who is standing in an article on Nantwich News.

A new Artisan Market featuring local art, gifts, homewares and food items is coming to Nantwich this weekend.

Staffordshire Metal Detecting Club has recently held two sessions in Hankelow, and are planning a third for the coming Sunday (28th April), so there will be some detectorists operating in the area.
It seems that so far they found a fair number of musket balls and spinning whorls in the first week; in the second it was Georgian coins circa 1790, buckles, buttons, two French copper coins, and a very worn Roman coin.

The Hankelow Spring Picnic will take place on the village green, on Sunday 5th May from 3:00 p.m. onwards.
